Getting to the Bahamas

Ready to set sail through the Bahamas? First, you need to get there! With a handful of airlines getting passengers between the Bahamas and the United States, primarily through Nassau, charter guests should expect to start their adventure there, before exploring the rest of the Bahamian islands.

Before you reserve your yacht charter, however, here is some important flight information you might need to know to help you plan your journey.

Flights to Nassau
As one of the most popular Caribbean islands, Nassau has become known as the international gateway to the Bahamas. Its airport, Lynden Pindling International Airport (formerly known as Nassau International Airport) — located just 10 miles west of the capital city and home to US Border pre-clearance facilities that allow all US flights to enter the island domestically — welcomes direct flights from multiple cities in the US and Canada, and is the largest airport in all of the area.

The following airlines have direct flights to Nassau, from specific locations throughout the US:
American Airlines
Bahamasair
Continental Airlines
Delta Air Lines
JetBlue Airways
Spirit Airlines
US Airways
